Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Clusters

1

Who knew easy crock pot recipes and easy dessert recipes could be the same thing? This simple slow cooker chocolate peanut cluster candy recipe is perfect for holidays, homemade gifts and more!

The first time I had these chocolate peanut clusters was when my mom brought them to a holiday dinner. I thought she had bought them and just arranged them in a festive dish. So, my mind was blown when she told me that she made them … in her crock pot! (For real, I know!)

crock pot (affiliate)festive holiday tins are perfect for cookie & candy gifts! (AFFILIATE)These peanut clusters taste exactly like the ones that you buy in the store (maybe better), and they’re simple to make.

I also love them because they make really great gifts for housewarming or holidays. Just put them in a festive holiday tin and they make perfect homemade gifts for neighbors, friends and teachers. (If you have any leftover, that is…)

Check out what an easy recipe this is to make in the slow cooker!

Baker:
Recipe type: Candy
Ingredients
  • 16 ounces unsalted peanuts
  • 16 ounces salted cocktail peanuts
  • 1 12-ounce bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 12-ounce bag milk chocolate chips
  • 2 10-ounce bags peanut butter chips
  • 2 16-ounce packages white almond bark
Instructions
  1. Layer the ingredients, in order, into a slow cooker. (I use the 6 quart setting if you have a crock pot with different quart settings.) Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
  2. Remove the lid and stir completely. If not all of the chocolate is melted, cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on low.
  3. Scoop spoonfuls of the clusters onto non-stick baking mats. Cool completely for 1 hour, or until the clusters are completely set.
  4. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
If you can't find white almond bark, you can also use vanilla candy melts (like Wilton's brand).
